BOKO HARAM: Sen. Binani calls for the re-establishment of a Military Command Base in Garkida

Following the recent attack by suspected Boko haram militia at Garkida town in Gombi Local Government Area of Adamawa State, The Senator Representing Adamawa Central Senatorial Zone, Sen. Aishatu Dahiru Ahmed Binani has admonished the chief of Army Staff General Tukur Burati to Immedietly Re-establish a Military Commmand Based in the community as well as other Major Settlements Boardering Sambisa forest.

Binani who made the call during Tuesday’s Prenery at the Senate under order 42 and 52 of Matters of urgent Public importance, also called on the North-East Development Commission to as a matter of urgency embark on rehabilation of Public and religious institutions destroyed in the attack and also to provide assistance to other institutions affectted .

While describing the community as a peaceful, and United town, she observed that the insurgents had a religious connotations in the recent attack considering the selected religious institution’s and residents of some prominent indigines which were either desgtroyed or burned down.

She also admonished the National Emergency management Agency (NEMA) to quickly set up action towards accessing the level of destruction with a view to provide relief materials to the area in no distance time.

She also called on the federal government to put more innovative measures in holistically fighting the Boko Haram Insurgents in the Country.

It could be recalled that Just Few days after the attack left churches, and many buildings belonging to prominent individuals and government burned down, Senator Aishatu Dahiru Ahmed Binani visited the community where she sympathized with them.

She visited Garkida General Hospital, where the insurgents carted away drug, Hospital Equipments, and other valuables Worths millions of Naira where carted away.

The Lawmaker described as painful the burning of the only Ambulance in the Hospital as well as many the level of damage done to the area.

 While at the Church of the Bretheren EYN Garkida, the Senator was visibly moved with sympathy as she prayed God to return that was lost in hundred folds.

The Senator who led the powerful delegation to Garkida comprising of Sen. Mohammed Hassan Barata, the State Chairman of the All Progressive Congress APC Alhaji Ibrahim Bilal as well as some members of the State Executive of the Party, were at At the Palace of the District Head of Garkida Mallam Saidu ItaHari Tarfa.

She told the Royal Father that as a Lawmaker, she will not hesitate to make relevant laws and pass motions that will completely restore peace in Adamawa State and in Particular, North-East as a whole and the country in General.

While Praying God to avert future accurance, Senator Binani Pleged to support the victims of the area with items that will cushion their hardships shortly.

SEN. BINANI CONDOLES ATIKU, ADAMAWA STATE GOVERNMENT

Senator Aishatu Dahiru Ahmed Binani has described the death of Late Alhaji Njidda Pariya, a close ally of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and the former Chief Protocol Officer Government House Yola Alhaji Ahmed Mahmud as a great loss to Adamawa State and Nigeria at large.

The senator who is representing Adamawa Central Senatorial Zone in the red chamber through one of her aides commiserated with the people of the state for the loss of the two illustrious sons.

“I wish to extend my heartfelt condolences to the families of Late Alhaji Njidda Pariya and Late Ahmed Mahmud over the demise of their loved ones” she mentioned.

She said “It’s a sad thing for the state to lose two of its illustrious sons in the space of 48 hours”.

She described the deceased as humble, kind and above all peace loving people.

While praying to Allah to grant the deceased aljannah firdausi, she also prayed that may Allah give the family the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.

SENATOR BINANI URGES MUSLIM FAITHFUL TO EMULATE PROPHET MUHAMMAD (PBUH)

The Senator representing Adamawa Central Senatorial Zone Sen. Aishatu Dahiru Ahmed Binani has called on Muslim faithful to emulate the example of Prophet Mohammed who founded Islam as a religion of peace.

The senator in a Maulid message counseled Muslims to strive for peace, and to bring glory to Islam and the nation in general.

“one of the significance of the commemoration of Maulid is that it serves as a reminder to Muslims to continuously emulate the exemplary lifestyle of Prophet Muhammad” she mentioned.

She urged them to highlight the virtues of the Holy Prophet(SAW) and seek to admonish his audience to follow the path of Allah and his Messenger for a better Life in this World and the Hereafter.

While urging them to live in peace and harmony with one another despite the religion and ethnic differences, she urged the Muslim Ummah to continue to pray for the development of the country.
