Ahead of their participation in the Nigerian Premier League, Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has promised to provide Adamawa United Football Club a brand new bus which will facilitate their movements.
Speaking when he hosted the Permanent Secretary State Ministry of Sports, officials as well as players of the Club in the Council Chamber Government House, Governor Fintiri congratulated the team for qualifying to the top tier football tournament in the country.
Governor Umaru Fintiri said his administration will not relent in its efforts towards supporting development of youths and sporting activities in the state for greater impacts in Adamawa.
He said the that his administration will do everything within its powers to support the players for greater productivity and improved sporting activities in Adamawa.
Earlier, the Permanent Secretary State Ministry of Sports, Malam Bashiru Hamidu Husaini said that Adamawa United are back to the Premier League after fifteen years struggle.
