ADAMAWA STOOD STILL FOR GOVERNOR FINTIRI AFTER SUPREME COURT VICTORY

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has once again proved his Zero tolerance to corruption as he vowed to probe public office holders who stole public funds in the last administration.


The Governor who recieved a hero’s welcome after his victory at the Supreme Court, said that corruption which occurred in previous administrations is responsible for the decay in the local government administrations as well as the entire system of governance and that no corrupt government official will be spared.

Governor Fintiri While speaking to a mammoth crowd of supporters and well wishers said under his administration security of lives and property has improved significantly and that he will not relent till peace is finally restored. 

On his victory at the highest court in the land, the Governor thanked Almighty God for the victory, also appreciated the people of Adamawa for electing him and also staying by him till the court tassel was over. 

He used the forum to call on opposition parties to join hands with him to move the state forward, stated that the its not a time for campaign but positive development.

Earlier in his remarks, Adamawa State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Barr A.T Shehu expressed joy over the Supreme Court verdict and declared that the party will continue to take the state to greater heights.

He applauded the good people of the state for sticking with the party since day one, he promised that Governor Fintiri is equal to the task of providing dividends of democracy to all.

The mammoth crowd which welcomed the Governor and his team from the Yola International Airport all the way down to Ribadu Square is testament that the people of the state are with the Governor whose giant strides in development can not be overlook.

If you can recall, the main opposition party in the state, the APC challenged the victory of Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri starting from the election petition tribunal, the appeal court and finally the Supreme Court where all courts declared that he won the 2019 gubernatorial election with a landslide.
