ADAMAWA SENATOR UNFOLDS SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME FOR CONSTITUENTS

The Senator representing Adamawa Southern Senatorial Zone Sen. Binos Yaroe has disclosed that very soon, people of his zone will soon have a cause to smile as plans are underway to roll out a scholarship scheme for tertiary institution students in his senatorial district. 

The Senator made the disclosure when he received the leadership of the Youth Wing of Bwatiye Community Development Association Abuja Chapter on a solidarity visit at his office.

While assuring the group that he is working round the clock to introduce ‘skills acquisition training’ to boost self-employment among the youths, a ‘scholarship scheme’ will soon be introduced so as to address the educational needs of the constituents. 

He mentioned that the role of the youths in nation building is enormous and as such, they should be accorded the right ingredients to succeed. 

“The youths are the leaders of tomorrow, in fact they are the leaders of today because they are currently the majority in the country, I’m not helping them by introducing the skills acquisition training or even with the scholarship, that’s what they voted me for, to work for them and I will continue to do just that for as long as possible” he stressed. 

He equally pledged to use his influence as a Member, Senate Committee on ‘Solid Minerals Development’, and include the exploration of the ‘much talked about’ Guyuk Cement Factory in the 2020 fiscal budget. 

The Chairman of the group who led the delegation , Mr Lofty Tahula congratulated the Legislator on his well deserved election to the Red Chamber, and subsequent victory at the tribunal and appeal courts. 

While commending the legislator for the laudable people- oriented programmes he has initiated so far, they have no doubt that he will take the constituency to the Promised Land before the end of his first tenure. 

He also lauded the Senator for initiating the free medical services months back, stated that the project has helped changed the lives of citizens in the constituency. Mr. Lofty the I used the opportunity to plead with the Senator to influence ‘federal projects’ like schools and industries to Numan Federation and indeed the Southern zone, to ameliorate youth restiveness in the society.
